Connecting money choices with goals

I introduced the Money Mindset Mob to the wonderful students at Karanga Mai College in Kaiapoi yesterday, and helped them bust the three lethal money myths.

They were an enthusiastic bunch, easily grasping how we are all different when it comes to our money habits and beliefs.

The room got a bit quiet when we starting talking about our weekly money routine though. They looked to their colourful ‘vision boards’ (on which they display their personal goals and aspirations) and saw a connection…

They realised that unless they each take responsibility for the choices they make with their money, those dreams will most likely remain unfulfilled.

I know those students all have the intellect to reach their goals. What I wish for them is the determination to make wise choices.
